anyone had muscle spasms after surgery??

Hi I have had abdominal surgery before for GERD . I woke up and had the most awful muscle spasms they almost took my breath away , even when i wiggled or thought about wiggling my little toe. HAs anyone experienced this type of spasm after WLS . I am booked for a DS/BPD July 22nd Thanks for your help Susan
