New Postie is very concerned, please help.

Hello, I'm 8 days post-op from open VBG. I am still on the liquid diet until friday when I see my surgeon. I feel really good and feel satisfied after I eat the amount I'm supposed to (not really full but I never really feel hungry anyways) Well when I drink between meals I feel like I can drink ALOT! My diet says 1-2 oz every 15 min. I can drink like 8 oz in a few minutes. I called my Dr's office and they seemed concerned that I might already have streched my pouch and I am supposed to call to speak with my Dr. tomorrow. I'm worried so I thought I'd ask you guys your opinions. Thanks for any response.
