Looking for a good summary of WLS

Anyone know of a good summary of WLS, advantages, conditions helped and likely outcomes? I am posting to some other locations trying to help people with diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. When I TRY to talk to them somneone always seems to say, impossible, dont believe it, doesnt help, its cosmetic etc... I am loking for a single page summary so I can give it to people to read. Sendng them to this site intimidates them, its so big. I need something friendly NOT sponsored by a surgeon. I have been accused of spreading surgeons propoganda:(
