has anyone had a wls redone

i had a wls about 27 years ago and am looking into haveing it redone it was done diff, at that time in a way that allowed it to stop working, and almost revrese itself and i gained a lot of wt. back was just woundering if anyone else has gone through this and what was the out come for you ?? think you for any responce
