Is there anything I can do to speed up the process?

YAY!!! Wyoming Voc. Rehab. finally approved my surgery. So I guess I'm well on my way. I guess I really should not be complaining. But, it seems like things are taking forever. I got approved on Dec 3. But, my next appt. with Voc. Rehab is not until Dec. 30. I still have not had a consult with a surgeon. I know that it takes a while to get into one. And then who knows how long it will be after that until I can actually have the surgery. I'm just concerned right now because my I am unable to work right now. I just ran out of unemployment. AND I AM DYING to get back to work! I hate not working. But, unfortunately I won't be able to go back to work until after I have surgery and after the 6 to 8 week recovery time. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to speed up the process?
