Anyone had a revision with no stomach pouch?

When I came out of surgery they told me they had to remove the top part of my stomach because of damage to that area. My esophogus is attached directly to my small intestine. Has anyone else had this? I am having trouble losing any weight - am 9 weeks out - don't seem to have any restrictions or adverse reactions to ANYTHING I eat. Help!
