Anyone here on Zoloft? Do you know if we absorb all of it?

I take 100mg of zoloft every evening, and I'm not completely sure it's working. My PCP did just increase the dosage from 50mg, so I know I have to wait a few weeks to really be able to tell. My question is this: Can I assume that due to my having a proximal RNY that I'm not absorbing the full 100mg and maybe that's why I'm not getting relief from my depression and anxiety? I did ask both the surgeon and PCP about this and I'm waiting for their answers. Just wanted to know if anyone else had experienced this and what did you do? Feel free to email me privately as well.
