Meds for Hemorrhoids

Can anyone please tell me what to do about this FREAKING pain in my butt...I have used creams, suppositories, and vicks vapor rub..Some days it is ok but others I can barley sit at my desk... Going to to Docs on Friday...Just dont want to go if I can find something else....
