Has anyone who has had gastric bypass had to have part of their stomach removed?

In 1978 I had gastic stapling. I am approved for a gastic bypass now. I wanted to find out if anyone has had to have part of their stomach removed while having the bypass? If so what were any complications and recovery time. I know this is very rare but I would like to talk to someone who has had to face this.
