has anyone that has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes still have there surgery?

Hi everyone. I think that I may have type 2 diabetes. Still going thru some testing. However I just wanted to know if my surgery will be put off because of it. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. This site is great!!
