FYI for those who Self Paid in 2002

I'm a post-op, but my boyfriend told me the other day that he heard on a radio talk show talking about taxes that President Bush signed something saying that anyone who self-paid for their WLS in 2002 can write it off on their taxes. I don't know where to research the specifics of this, but I thought I'd throw it out there in case it pertained to anyone. He said that the guy on the radio show said most people haven't heard about it yet, but that it is definitely on the books.
