Has anyone else had a problem with nasea and smells being very strong and overbearing

I recently thought i had a stomach virus, and have had nausea since, its been a little over a week. I have noticed though that smells since then overbear me, sometimes even cause me to vomit. I smell things when other people cant smell anything and i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and how long does it last?
