Has anyone been unable to walk pre-op due to pulm. hypertension and walked ok post-op

I am posting this question for my mom. She just got her surgery date for Lap RNY on June 10th and there is one thing I have been wondering ever since she started this journey. She has pulmonary hypertension and can't walk more than 5 feet without being painfully short of breath or having chest pain. When she goes out of the house she must use an electric scooter to get around. I was wondering if anyone out there has had pulmonary hypertension before the surgery or her same problems and if so how are you doing post op? Thanks in advance. Lisa
