High protein levels in urine post op. Common?

My surgery was back on April 8th and when my primary checked my urine this week it came back from the lab with very high protein levels and "bilirubins" (sp?). I haven't had a chance to speak to either him or my surgeon yet and was wondering if this is common among WLS patients. I've lost over 70 lbs and started on solids this past week. Thanks!
