I am 3 weeks post-op, on a liquid diet, and every evening I have

I am 3 weeks post-op, on a liquid diet, and every evening I have "reflux" consisting of a nasty tasting/burning clear liquid. It isn't bile but occurs when I burp or have that burning indigestion feeling in my chest. It's woken me up 2-3 times a night for the past 2 weeks or so. Has anyone else experienced this? How long does it go on for? Any remedies? My Dr. says it's part of my stomach repairing itself.
