Has anyone had the JIB surgery from years ago?

I desperately would appreciate talking with peers of JIB (jejuno-ileal or intestinal bypass) which I had in 1977 in Birmingham, Alabama. I have never had the surgery reversed and would like to discuss its side-effects and how folks are living with and treating them, especially bacterial overgrowth in the blocked-off intestine.
