Do you get headaches from not being able to eat?

I am pre-op and I know that now when I get hungry and I haven't hed enough to eat in a while, my blood sugar drops and I get unbearable headaches that can only be cured by finding some food. SInce pre-ops can't eat a whole lot, I'm worried about having headaches all the time since there's not a whole lot of food to raise my blood sugar. What are your experiences?
