has anyone ever had this exclusion

I'm not sure yet if this is exactly how my exclusion reads in my policy book but the denial letter I received reads "your health plan does not cover the care and treatment of obesity, weight loss or dietary control, including prescribed medications and/or drugs, whether or not it is, in any case, a part of the treatment plan for another sickness. Is there any way to get around this exclusion? Please help; I'm very desperate. If anyone could give me any helpful info about this I would really appreciate it.
