Has anyone been able to take Inderal LA after RNY?

I was put on this medication for rapid heart rate due to thryoid problems and control of my blood pressure. I have tried to go off this medicine, but I am getting the rapid heart rate back. My doctor did give me other meds (tenorman) to reduce dosage over 3 week period which I thought would take care of the rapid heart beat. I feel good on this med. and I would like to continue taking inderal LA.
