Has anyone post-op used appetite suppressants?

I went to see my surgeon today for a 3 month post-op visit. I initally lost 60 lbs, but nothing in the past 6 weeks. My doc said one possibility is that i am eating too much and should consider appetite suppressants. Has any one else has any success with this? As it is I'm not eating enough protein and my hair is falling out in handfuls. I'm scared to think about what will happen if I cut out even more food.
