Will my sexual "appetite" improve following surgery?

My hubby has been quite a miserable men lately. when we first got together, things were diffeent until ther last couple years. I do not feel into the whole intimacy thing. I want to, I try to. I just can't. I need to know if this will impove after surgery and weight loss. If so, how long before I become that "sex goddess" my hubby has been missing out on?
