How long after having a baby are you supposed to wait

to have the surgery done. I have been looking into the surgery for about a year, but 5 months ago I got pregnant. I really want to have the surgery and plan on breastfeeding for about a year after the baby is born. Would a year be long enough to wait to have the surgery?
