How long does it take before all the swelling goes down???

I just had a full abdominalplasty on Feb 18 and they removed 6 pounds of fat and excess skin but now I weigh more than I did before surgery, the surgeon says its because of fluid and swelling but its been almost 4 weeks now and the weight has not went down, I was told after I have the skin removed I would lose an additional 10-15 pounds but I am now larger than I started, should I worry or with this go away and how long??? ~Tina~ current weight 136 use to be 130
