Did anyone have there neuropathy in there feet go away?

I have heard that some people who have diabetes, after surgery there diabetes goes into remission, I am pre-op, but have better control over my blood sugars, and some of my neuropathy in my feet has gone away, has anyone that has had diabetes go into remission, had there neuropathy also go away.
