has any other female had a problem of vaginal yeast infections after surgery

I have not had a yeast infection in I don't remember when, but boy do I have one now. I took a few days of Augmentin for an incision infection, but the MD took me off of them early and that was over a week ago. this wicked itch started a couple of days ago so, i am not real sure it is a result of the antibiotics and trust me there is NO action there to have caused it. Just wondering if it has to do w/ our diets now or what???? Either way, I took a Diflucan for it yesterday, but no relief as of yet. I hate to ask such, but after all if I can't ask yall who can I ask??? Thanks
