Why are my boobs still big?

I was wondering did anyone else have this problem. I am 3 months and 12 days post op, down 55+ pounds from original weight of 227, now 162. My boobs are still the same size 44DD, are they ever gonna go down? My Dr says that with the weight loss they should go down but I am still not able to shop for a smaller size bra. I am seriously thinking about asking my Dr for a breast reduction. The only one who seems to be happy about my breast staying the same size is my boyfriend, but I am completely unhappy because not only have they not when down in size, they have decided to go south and are hanging to my knees...Please help and give me some advise on how to handle my hanging boobs
