Has anyone else suffered from fractures post-op and had slow healing?

I hurt my foot in September and finally rec'd a diagnosis of a fracture and stress fracture in January of this year. It is not 4 1/2 since then, my stress fracture broke and I'm still in a walking cast and wear a bone stimulator at night. All of my labs have been great as well as my bone density test. I am so frustrated because I've spent half of my time post op in a walking boot - unable to do little exercise that doesn't increase the pain in my foot. Please, I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts. (Stationary bike even created increased tenderness so the doc told me to stop.) Thanks for your responses. Krista
