I have had colon resection and wonder about bowel changes w/rny

I had colon resection in Nov 98 for early stage colon ca I have had some problems with bloating and urgency with some bouts of diarrhea. I am trying to have prox. rny surgery I I was wondering if this surgery will make this worse. I think alot of times the problems are from eating too much but I couldn't be sure I wouldn't like to think it could get worse, the urgency is sometimes a problem. Anyone have any words of wisdom for me.
