Dr. only does two rows of staples on either side of cut. Does this seem like enough?

From what I understand if the staple line were to disrupt in a transected pouch, food would enter the abdominal cavity causing peritinitis(sp). where as if it were to disrupt in a non transected pouch the food would simply enter the bottom half of the stomach causing weight gain. I would much rather regain some weight than deal with peritinitis. I believe either case would need re-stapling? Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. I'm very worried since I've heard many folks mention they have from 4 to 6 rows of staples in a nontransected stomach.
