EMBARASSING!!! Should I call my doctor???

This is kind of embarassing, but I need to know if I should be concerned. I have had severe diarreah for the last FOUR days!!! Since surgery, I've never been one of those who have had everything I eat go right through me. But since Sunday, I've gone to the bathroom an average of 8 times a day and it's ALL SHOOTS (if you know what I mean). I like it in the sense that I've lost almost 10 pounds in these 4 days, but I'm not sure if it's the healthiest way to lose. Should I call my doctor? Should I be concerned???
