I'd like to hear from others who have had the LapBand procedure

I am seriously considering a Lap-Band procedure, and I have some questions from those who have had it done. I read where the procedure was recommended for those who have less weight to lose, 80-100 lb or so .. I have approx. 195 lb. to lose. Would AGB be likely to work for me, with so much excess weight? I do think I have a few things in my favor; I have never been much of a "grazer" .. I always ate big meals and nothing or very little in between. Since I began researching WLS and keeping a food journal, I find that I have been eating way less at meals, sometimes as much as 3/4 less than usual. I'm not a stress eater, nor do I crave anything in particular. I know that this site is not a substitute for medical opinion, but I thought I'd test the waters and get your thoughts.
