I have lost 66 pounds in 3 months

Is that to fast? I am 5'9" and 310 pre-surgery and have lost 66 pounds in just 3 months. Doctor didn't seem worried. The 1 thing I did not want to do was to lose to fast, I know that is not very good for you. Thanks
