Can't seem to drink enough and having some weird jaw noises.

I am 15 days Post Op and have a couple questions. First, no matter how much I drink I am ALWAYS thirsty. I am drinking water constantly, and often have it by my bed at night to drink every time I wake. Yet I still feel very thirsty and it is most uncomfortable. If I drink slow or fast I still burp every time too. Will this pass? I can't imagine having to feel so thirsty all my life. Question two. Today and once a couple days ago, there is a strange nose whenever I chew anything. It sounds like opening Velcro. The sound comes from right under my ears where the jaw opens/closes. I am getting a bit concerned as I've never had this happen before. Thanks.
