Has anyone had surgery done in Lyon, France?

I am on the end of my rope! Each month I feel worse and worse physically - I am just over 400 pounds now. (lower back pain, bone spur problems, knee joints) Surgeries here, if I do even get approved for a surgery through insurance could be months and months away. I am seriously considering, in fact, going through financial options - to get surgery done in Lyon, France by a Dr. Teboul at the Hopital Edouard Herriot. Has anyone had surgery here? I read in the bulletins that a gal is scheduled today, August 28th, for a surgery with Dr. Frering - I believe they work at the same hospital, but specialize in different types of surgeries. I can get into surgery there by the end of November!! To me, that is more important than waiting months and months to wait for freakin' insurance. I also though am not stupid and want to try and find out about the hospital and, of course, the surgeon. I just want to "re-"start my life - be able to do fun and physical things. Am I just insane to want this quick?
