how do I get BCBS PPO to pay for cardiolite stress test ?????

Went for cardiac clearance and found that cardiologist insists on not only echo and ekg, but also a cardiolite stress test because I have high blood pressure.Don't most severely overweight people have high blood pressure? My ins. co. BCBS ppo will not cover test,dur to the fact they don't feel HBP warrants this test.It's a $1300.00 test.What do I do??? I need cardiac clearance.... please help me!!!
