Travel ?'s for 8 weeks post-op.

I am contemplating attending a week long out-of-state business conference in my 8th week post-op. I know everyone is different, but what did you feel like at that time of recovery? This is a 1.5 day car trip so all together we would be gone about 9 days. (My husband would go with me.) I am most concerned about being able to eat in restaurants by then and whether I'll be able to be in the car for that long at a time. Not to mention whether or not I'll be able to concentrate. The first couple days of the conference are very technical in nature. (Government fiscal and administrative requirements.) What do you think?
