Looking for support here

I am almost two months out. At 5 weeks I was dilated. I didn't have enough sedation so the experience was horrible. Eating has been hard from the begining. I have had to elimintae all dairy. I have trouble eating anything. Even drinking water can be painful. After the dilation I was ok for that night. The next day it was the same. I have slowed down my eating...thinking it could be me. I have eliminated a lot of food because I just don't want to hurt. I am also afraid to eat because I am afraid it might hurt. I know this is hurting me. What can I do. The surgeon wants to wait another 3 weeks to give the small ulcer they found time to heal. If I am the same I get to have another barium swallow. Today I ate 1/2 slice of peanut butter on toast. Natural..no sugar. and about half a cup of chicken barley soup. Mostly broth. That is it. My stomach hurts a lot right now. Anyone out there that past through this to the other side? My support group tells me it will get better. I have lost 60 pounds so far. Thanks
