I am on methadone and i am having an epidural for lower back pain

My question is if your on methadone and having an epidural for lower back pain, will the sedative they give you before the epidural harm me.? Is there anything wrong with having the sedative since i'm on the methadone. I'm on a 100 millagrams of methadone daily. I would appriciate any replies thank you audra
