Can a cat scan show a staple line disruption?

I went to the GI doc today and he said i either had diverticulitis or my staples are comming out i'm not really eating more and haven't gained any weight. I had a cat scan done a few months ago and my doc got the results and said that they didn't see any problem with my surgery itself so.... the GI doc scheduled me for an endoscope to be done and i may have to have a revision someone please help me i didn't go through all this for nothing.If they didn't see it on my cat scan i shouldn't have that problem right?What are the symptoms of SLD anyways?
