having pain 7 weeks out from hernia repair

7 weeks ago, i have lap hernia repair for a 9cm hernia. the doc thought he was going to have to do it open it was so big. (i looked about 6 mos pregnant) he put the mesh over my entire abdomen as i've had a few surgeries, and he was concerned that i'd have to have a re-do eventually. (the surgery actualy hurt 10 times worse than my open rny.) anyway, he said after about 6-12 mos the discomfort should go away completly. i'm having a lot of pain about 12 inches to the right of my bellybutton. according to the doc,it's where he says the end of the mesh is, and there is a ball of stiches tacking it to the muscle. i'm currently in a sit down job, and by the end of the day i hurt so bad it hurts to breathe. tylenol blunts it just enought to be bearable. this has just started happening this bad about 3 days ago. before it was just a mild discomfort. it helps when i stand up straight, or if i lay down flat and put heat on it. if it's not better by monday, i will call the doctor, but was wondering if any post ops with hernia repair has had the same problem... out 20 mos down 120 lbs...
