i'm at the end of my rope!!! i've never had problems before....

with uhc. i'm ready to start screaming!!! i'm going to have to start looking for a lawyer. i'm trying to have a skin removal with my hernia repair for a hernia the size of a canteloupe, and i've been getting the runaround since august. i'm calling about every other day and keep getting told my reuqest is in open status. i was told i would have an answer by 9/11. it came and went without an answer. i call back, and i'm told no, it's 30 BUSINESS days. that would have been 9/22. i gave them 45 days. still no answer. i call back and get this jack idiot (a new breed of humans i've discoverd working at bellsouth. it's a cross between a jack a** and an idiot. it's almost redundant but not quite) that tells me it's not ugrent. WRONG ANSWER!!!!!. i go off on him, and get a sup that tells me i should have an answer by tuesday evening. anyway, to make a long story shorter, i'm supposed to have an answer by tonight (i'm to the point i don't care if it's yes or no. i just want to know so i can start taking the next step) and if i don't, i'm giving them to 10/1 and if i don't get an answer then i'm getting a lawyer. anyway, my question after venting with this long story is this. i'm in nashville tennessee, and need to find a lawyer who handels this or similar types of situations. i would be forever grateful for any help, and apriciate y'all taking the time to read and let me vent. i'm not an overly happy camper right now...... melloney
