Is anyone's hair breaking?

I am 10 weeks post op and down 52 pounds. My hair is not so much falling out (though it is a little) But breaking off. When I put products in my hair I notice that my hands are covered with one inch long pieces of hair and I have all of these little pieces sticking out all around my face. I have not heard this one before and am just wondering if anyone else has expreienced the same thing.
