What is the easiest way to get crushed meds down?

I had a lot of complications with my surgery. My Doctor sent me home with a lot of meds to take which all have to be crushed. I use my pill crusher, tried mixing with juice or applesauce, but still having a lot of trouble with the bitter anitbiotics. Any suggestions?? Thanks, Randy
