When do I take vitamins?

I am confused, u cant drink when u eat, u have to wait 1/2 hr to drink after u eatHelp clear this up for me. U cant drink when u eat, so if u drink water with vitamins do u then have to wait to eat. Does your vitamins fill u up so u cant eat?
