Anyone approved for BPD/DS with Tricare Prime Remote in 2004?

Anyone approved for BPD/DS with Tricare Prime Remote in 2004? I was denied for a laparascopic duodenal switch procedure on Jan. 13th. My surgeon's office says it looks like a mistake. The denial says that the procedure is denied, it doesn't say anything about ME not meeting the qualifications. Does anyone have any insight into what is happening with Tricare now? Thanks!
