When will water taste the same as it did pre-op?

Pre-op, I drank water all the time and loved it! I mean really enjoyed the taste of it. I am 3 mos post op and water still does not taste the same to me. I miss enjoying it. I can't drink plain water and always have to mix something with it to "mask" the taste. Anyone else? When does it change?
