Looking for a WLS friendly PCP in RI.

I have HMO Blue of New England and need a referral from my PCP for a consult with a surgeon. I know I'm getting ahead of myself here, but I have a feeling my PCP will not support surgery. If that happens, I'd be willing to switch to one who would. Also, does anyone know if Blue Cross requires a letter approving the surgery from your PCP, or if I just need the PCP to give me the referral? So, if you're from Rhode Island, and been approved for WLS - do you mind telling me who your PCP is?
