Has Shrimp bothered anyone else? Can you develop sudden allergies?

I have tried Shrimp twice now and it has made me froth at the mouth and given me horrible pain. The first time I was about 4 weeks out (maybe too soon?) and I had the Tilapia topped with shrimp at Ruby Tuesday's. I had a bad reaction and didn't know if it was the shrimp or fish. Then, last night (7 weeks out) I had Shrimp in Black Bean Sauce from a Chinese restaurant and I threw up. The first time throwing up since the surgery. I am able to tolerate turkey, ham and chicken so I'm wondering if I have developed some kind of allergy. Is that possible? Let me know any suggestions or if anyone else has had this problem.
