Could it really be my gallbladder??

I have been having chest pain for over 3 weeks now. The pain is on the same side as my heart. I went and had my heart checked, it's fine. I've been reading that I need to have my gallbladder checked. Why does it hurt way up there if it's my gallbaldder, did it get moved during surgery. I am scheduled for a gallbaldder ultrasound on Friday. I just don't want to feel like a fool, because I'm the one that pushed my PCP into checking my gallbadder. Thank you for all of your help. Claudia
