My mother got an intestinal bypass surgery done in the 70's is she going to die?

Since my mother's surgery in the 70's, she has had dumping syndrome and two years ago she had internal bleeding. She still has not had the surgery reversed. I must get information on studies, etc. done on the effects of intestinal bypass surgery - can anyone help me find info on this - I am afraid she'll die if we dont get it reversed.
